General Requirements (All Counties)
- You must own and live in the home as of January 1, 2025
- The home must be your primary residence
- Only one property can be claimed for the exemption
Documents Needed for Application
- Georgia Driver’s License or ID (with your property address)
- Social Security Number (for both you and your spouse)
- Vehicle Registration
- Property Deed (if the property is in a trust, include trust documents)
